ARTSHARE FOR THE LAND

The northern New Mexico landscape of God-lit, wide-open views and traditional villages has attracted and inspired artists for generations. Just like we can't separate culture from the land, we can't separate art. ArtShare for the Land provides opportunities for artists to give back by supporting Taos Land Trust's efforts to protect the land that is their muse. And it provides opportunities for our members and other art patrons to purchase beautiful artwork, while supporting permanent land conservation.

The Attiyeh Conservation Easement, El Prado - The Attiyeh family has generously protected several properties around the Taos area.

Many nationally known and local artists, galleries, and collectors have supported our land conservation work over the years by donating to our Art & Adventures Auction or our Limited Edition Images of Taos program. Others have dedicated a straight percentage of the sales of their work to the land trust, participated in gallery shows, or donated work for our publications and this website.

Our previous art auction was held as El Monte Sagrado and was a sucessful fundraiser and also gave many artists the chance to expose theri art to well over 100 of our supporters.
